Our 8-inch TFT-LCD modules replace 9-inch monochrome CRT displays across all major CNC brands. This is our most common size — approximately 70% of all CNC CRTs are 9-inch monochrome displays. 8" LCD provides 800×600 resolution, 350 cd/m² brightness, and a 20-pin Honda MR-20M connector on most models.

Q: Is 8-inch LCD the standard replacement for 9-inch CNC CRT?
Yes. Nearly all 9-inch monochrome CRTs on CNC machines are replaced with 8-inch TFT-LCD modules. The viewable area is nearly identical because CRT tubes measure the outer glass while LCDs measure the active display area.
Q: Do all 8-inch LCDs use the same connector?
Most 9-inch monochrome CRTs use a 20-pin Honda MR-20M connector, making the LCD module cross-compatible across different brands (FANUC, Mazak, Mitsubishi, Heidenhain). HAAS and some models use a 9-pin D-sub.
Q: Will an 8-inch LCD fit in my 9-inch CRT enclosure?
Our LCD module comes with mounting brackets that fit the standard 9-inch CRT bezel opening. Installation takes 10-15 minutes.
