About Matsushita CRTs in CNC Systems

Matsushita (Panasonic) manufactured CRT displays used extensively in Mazak Mazatrol CNC systems from the 1980s through early 2000s. The TR-120S9C 9-inch monochrome CRT was the standard display for Mazatrol T-32 and M-32 controls — the workhorses of Mazak's QUICK TURN and VTC series machines. These CRTs are now 15–30 years old and increasingly prone to failure.

Installation

Our LCD module is designed as a direct replacement for the Matsushita TR-120S9C:

Power off the Mazak machine
Disconnect the 20-pin ribbon cable from the CRT
Remove the CRT mounting bracket (4 screws)
Mount the LCD module using the same bracket (no drilling required)
Connect the 20-pin cable to the LCD module
Power on — display appears immediately with no parameter changes
