Okuma CNC machines with OSP (Okuma Special Purpose) controls use high-quality CRT displays that eventually fail. This guide covers LCD replacement for Okuma OSP5000, OSP5020, and OSP7000 control systems.

Installation
- Power off the Okuma machine and lockout main power
- Remove the CRT bezel and unscrew mounting brackets
- Disconnect the video signal cable and 24V DC power
- Install the LCD module and connect existing cables
- Power on — display appears immediately
Time: 10-15 minutes. No parameter changes required.
Okuma-Specific Advantages
Okuma OSP controls benefit particularly from LCD upgrade because the higher resolution (800x600 vs 640x400) makes OSP's detailed status screens significantly clearer and more readable.
