The MAZAK MDT1283B is a CRT display found on Mazak machines with Mazatrol controls, 12-inch CRT.

  • Blank or dim display — Mazak CRT flyback or phosphor failure after 20+ years.
  • Color shift (color units) — CRT neck board driver failure on Mazak color displays.
  • Flickering / geometry distortion — Capacitor aging in the deflection yoke circuit.

CRT hardware failures. The Mazak control (Mazatrol) continues to generate the correct video signal — our LCD displays it correctly.
